He was the five-year-old cancer survivor left upset when he was cut from the Oscars.
But Andrew Garfield has a surprise in store for his little friend Batkid, aka Miles Scott.
The actor has invited the youngster, who is recovering from lymphoblastic leukemia, to join him at the New York City premiere of his film the Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Garfield invited the youngster to the red carpet premiere on April 24, Us Weekly reports.
It comes after the pair's segment was cut from Sunday's ceremony at the last minute.
The Hollywood star was due to take the stage at Sunday's ceremony with Milesand publicly declare him a superhero at the hero themed ceremony.
But after they completed rehearsals together on Saturday, a decision was made by the Academy to cut their segment completely leaving both Miles and Andrew, 'equally upset'.
Andrew's representatives told MailOnline: 'At some point overnight on Saturday / Sunday morning, it was decided by those running the show that the segment didn't work in the ceremony.
'They decided to pull it - Andrew and Miles were equally upset. The producers arranged for Miles and his family to visit Disneyland on Monday and Andrew drove down to visit them and to bring Miles a personal gift.
'Andrew did the right thing for Batkid and anyone saying otherwise is flat out lying.'
They revealed that Andrew had prepared his part to honour Miles, saying: 'In full collaboration with the Academy and the show writer, Andrew prepared a segment for the Oscars to honour Miles Scott as the true hero that he is.'
The Academy also took full responsibility for axing the segment, saying: 'Due to the nature of a live show, hard decisions sometimes must be made which require the Academy to cut segments due to the logistics of production.'
Miles' family were left baffled by the snub, with his mother Natalie Scott telling the International Business Times, 'I don't know if they ran out of time, or if there was something about the segment they didn't like. It got pulled so quickly that we didn't have a lot of insight into what was going on. It is kind of a disappointment, but things happen. I know that's how TV goes and how Hollywood is. We're just not used to that.'
Miles hit the headlines in November when the Make-A-Wish foundation made his dream of being a superhero come true.
The streets of San Francisco came to a standstill as he worked his way around the city with crowds of San Franciscans lining the streets to watch his heroics.
